The video isn’t very impressive but I absolutely love this song!… Oh my gosh, I never thought those words would ever come out of my mouth while referring to a Miley Cyrus song. But really, its a great song. I could expound and say why I like it and what it means to me but… it speaks for itself.
Great song. I think anyone at any time in their lives would appreciate this song. Because there is always a mountain, but just knowing its about the climb is enough to encourage you. And that you have fellow climbers. love you, Janie.
ps. Brad knew this was Miley Cyrus. lol (what?)
I don’t know what I’d do without my fellow climbers! Seeing how others deal with what they face on their climb helps me to know that I’ll be alright and I can take it.
1 Cor. 10:13 (Amplified)
But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.
In this version it refers to our way out as being a “landing place”, sounds to me like Paul thought we’d be doing some climbing! I think of a landing place as a ledge or level spot on the side of a mountain where climbers can sit and rest. I’m so thankful for my church and God’s people! my landing place!
I love you too Sarah!
I am a big fan of that song, there is a song that is similar to that one called “mountains” lonestar, you should check it out
Janie, I am not a fan of Miley but I do love that song! It’s funny how one song can change your perspective on life. I think that in our challenges that God gives us if we dont learn somthing on our way up mountain when we get to the top you find less victory. Anyways I hope you and your mom have fun in Europe.
Love Melissa.
